On June 3, a meeting of companies in the field of healthcare and medical technologies of Kazakhstan and Germany took place within the walls of the Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” in order to explore the potential of joint cooperation and establish business relations. At the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation and business with representatives of the healthcare industry of Kazakhstan were discussed.

The program of the meeting included: a specialized conference: “The potential of Kazakh-German cooperation and business relations in the field of healthcare and medical technologies”, individual discussions, B2B negotiations between Kazakh and German companies.

The conference, held in a hybrid mode, was attended by the Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry Development of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kinayatov Aslan (online), heads of medical organizations and associations, professors and university professors, as well as leading German companies such as: Abacus Analytical GmbH, ACL GmbH, Medavis GmbH, OPASCA GmbH, VISION MED GmbH, NursIT Institute GmbH, Inspital Medical Technology GmbH, Aap Joins GmbH, Clinic Tools Deutschland GmbH. German companies offered laboratory and analytical technologies, medical engineering, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy products, IT solutions for hospital information systems, as well as for process optimization.

The conference was moderated by Professor Dr. Matthias Kramer, NETSCI GmbH, Managing Director and Auyezova Ardak Mukhanbetzhanovna (PhD), Rector of the Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH”.

In her speech, Ardak Mukhanbetzhanovna stressed that our university was not in vain chosen as the venue for the meeting, since the Kazakhstan School of Public Health (SPH) was established by a Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the Agreement between the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 18, 1996 for the purpose of training and retraining specialists in public health, professional development of health managers on topical issues of public health, politics and management in modern conditions. She presented Master’s, doctoral, and residency programs and talked about the achievements of the university.

German businessmen noted that the relations between Germany and Kazakhstan are mutually complementary with economic benefits for both sides.

At the end of the meeting, the German delegation expressed hope for fruitful cooperation and support of their proposals from the state structures of Kazakhstan, noting the importance of state policy for the purposeful and progressive development of the country’s industry.

The event is organized by the German company DREBERIS GmbH, NETSCI GmbH, Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection of Germany.
