





As part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative, Kazakhstan Medical University “KSPH” hosted a scientific and educational lecture titled “Climate and Health”, delivered by Robb Butler, former Director of the Division of Communicable Diseases and Climate Change at the WHO Regional Office for Europe.
The lecture addressed key issues related to the impact of climate change on population health, as well as current challenges and approaches to addressing them. Particular attention was given to the WHO European Programme of Work 2025-2030, in which climate change and environmental issues are identified among the four key priorities.
The “Taza Kazakhstan” event was organized as part of the University’s educational and awareness-raising activities and aimed to increase awareness among students of global public health challenges and to promote a responsible approach to health and environmental issues.
