







Republican Scientific and Practical Conference on Dermatovenereology Held at KSPH
On September 25, 2026, Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” hosted the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovations and Traditions in Dermatovenereology: Scientific Heritage and Modern Practice,” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor G. K. Askarova.
As the date of the conference coincided with the Day of National Mourning, the event program was adjusted accordingly. All ceremonial and entertainment activities were cancelled, and the conference was held in a restrained scientific and professional format.
Opening the event, Rector of Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” Ardak Mukhanbetzhanova addressed the participants and expressed her deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased servicemen. At the Rector’s initiative, the participants observed a minute of silence in memory of those who lost their lives.
Following the tribute, the conference continued in accordance with the approved scientific program.
The event brought together representatives of the medical and academic communities, researchers, faculty members, practicing physicians, and specialists in dermatovenereology. The conference featured scientific presentations on current issues in the field, modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment, emerging areas of research, and the preservation and continuity of scientific traditions.
Special attention was given to the scientific, academic, and professional legacy of Professor G. K. Askarova, as well as her long-standing contribution to the development of dermatovenereology, medical science, and professional education.
The conference served as a professional platform for the exchange of experience, discussion of modern scientific approaches, and strengthening cooperation within the medical community.
