23 October 2026. The “Taza Qazaqstan” environmental campaign and the festive “Altyn Kuz” autumn fair were held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, bringing together representatives of the academic and educational community, faculty members, students, and distinguished guests.
Auyezova Ardak Muhanbetzhanovna, rector of Kazakhstan’s medical university “Kazakhstan School of Public Health” (KMU “KSPH”), took part in the events.
As part of the nationwide “Taza Qazaqstan” environmental campaign, 65 trees were planted on the university grounds. The initiative aims to expand green spaces, foster environmental awareness, and promote a responsible attitude towards the environment.
The programme continued with the festive “Altyn Kuz” autumn fair, celebrating the abundance of the autumn harvest, national traditions, and unity within the university community.
The faculties of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University prepared themed exhibition areas and festively decorated tables featuring a variety of refreshments and traditional Kazakh cuisine. Traditional cauldrons used to prepare aromatic pilaf, generously laid dastarkhans, and the warmth of Kazakh hospitality added a special atmosphere to the event.
The fair also featured a vibrant concert programme prepared by creative groups and students from various faculties. Musical performances, songs, and dances created a festive atmosphere and showcased the creative talents of the university’s students.
The event was not only a celebration of the autumn harvest but also an opportunity to strengthen friendly ties, promote cultural exchange, and foster cooperation between universities.
The participation of Ardak Auyezova, Rector of KMU “KSPH”, in these events reflects the university’s commitment to supporting socially significant initiatives, developing partnerships with the country’s leading higher education institutions, and contributing to the preservation of national values.
The “Taza Qazaqstan” environmental campaign and the “Altyn Kuz” autumn fair served as a vivid example of how environmental responsibility, respect for national traditions, and unity within the academic community can be brought together.
