KMU “KSPH” Residents and Doctoral Students Complete an Internship at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University
As part of the academic mobility program, residents and doctoral students of KMU “KSPH” are undertaking an international internship at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University in Xi’an, China, one of the country’s largest and most prestigious university hospitals.
During the internship, participants are actively engaged in both educational and clinical activities. They participate in international scientific conferences, attend lectures, seminars, and master classes delivered by leading professors, and gain insight into modern approaches to disease diagnosis and treatment.
Under the supervision of experienced specialists, the residents and doctoral students participate in outpatient consultations, attend clinical rounds, discuss complex clinical cases, observe advanced surgical procedures, study the work of specialized departments, and learn about the organization of healthcare services in China.
The internship enables participants to strengthen their professional competencies, broaden their international experience, foster academic cooperation, and bring advanced medical knowledge and best clinical practices back to Kazakhstan.
