New Knowledge — New Opportunities for the Development of Nursing
Issenova,Balday Kalimullinovna PhD, Head of the Department of Nursing at the Higher School of Public Health and Coordinator for Nursing in the Inpatient Care Service of Almaty, completed international training in Kaunas, Lithuania, under the program “Infection Safety and Organization of Nursing Services in a Healthcare Institution.”
The training was held from 17 to 28 August 2026.
The program provided an opportunity to explore European practices in the organization of nursing care, modern approaches to infection prevention and control, patient safety, nursing process management, and improvement of the quality of healthcare services.
The knowledge and experience gained during the training will serve as a basis for introducing modern approaches into the educational process of the Higher School of Public Health and for the further development of nursing in Kazakhstan.
