As part of the University’s ideological and educational work, a seminar entitled “The New Constitution and the Principle of Law and Order: Citizens’ Rights, Duties and Responsibilities” was held.
The speaker was Bakhytzhan Zholdybayuly Saparov, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, lawyer, PhD, and Acting Associate Professor.
During the seminar, the speaker presented the key provisions of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and explained its significance for the further development of the state and society. Particular attention was given to constitutional human rights and freedoms, citizens’ duties and responsibilities, and the role of the “Law and Order” principle in strengthening the rule of law.
The participants discussed the rights to life and judicial protection, the right to privacy, citizens’ responsibility to comply with the law, and their duty to protect the environment and use natural resources responsibly. The seminar also addressed the strengthening of national unity, the development of legal culture, and responsible patriotism.
The seminar contributed to improving the participants’ legal literacy and deepening their understanding of the role of every citizen in building a just, safe and responsible society.
