Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” informs about the beginning of the pre-selection for applicants to doctoral studies from February 1 to April 15, 2024!
I.Pre-selection: According to the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2018 No. 600 “Standard rules for admission to educational organizations implementing educational programs of postgraduate education” (with amendments and additions as of 06/08/2023; 12/15/2022), pre-selection is a mandatory stage for admission to doctoral studies. Persons who have not passed the preliminary selection at the Higher School of Economics will not be admitted to the entrance exams for admission to doctoral studies.
KMU “KSPH” conducts a preliminary selection of applicants for doctoral studies in the scientific and pedagogical field with a 3-year study period according to educational programs:
– D139 – “Public Health”;
– D141 – “Medicine”.
Persons with a master’s degree and at least one (1) year of work experience or who have completed residency training in medical specialties are accepted for doctoral studies.
II. To pass the pre-selection for doctoral studies, you must provide the following list of documents:
1. Application addressed to the Rector of KMU “KSPH” (Appendix 1);
2. Identity document (notarized copy);
3. A copy of documents on higher and postgraduate education (for graduates of previous years);
4. Certificate from the place of study (for graduate students of Master’s degree/residency);
5. A personal record sheet or other document confirming employment, certified by the personnel service at the place of work;
A list of scientific and methodological works (scientific publications) for the last three calendar years;
6. The plan-program of future research (the form of the Plan-program); Publications in scientific journals and collections of works (if available);
7. Participation in scientific conferences (if available);
8. Research grants (if available);
9. Scientific diplomas and awards (if available);
10. Certificates of participation in conferences (if available);
Scanned documents must be sent to the following email address kmu_ksph@mail.ru
In case of failure to provide a complete set of documents from the list, the admissions committee does not consider applications from applicants.
