On September 15, 2026, the First Congress of Sanitary and Epidemiological Service Professionals of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held to mark the 35th anniversary of the country’s Independence.

As part of the Congress, the Kazakhstan Medical University “KSPH” presented its exhibition stand. Particular interest was drawn to the University’s newly published two-volume textbooks on public health. Timur Sultangaziyev, First Vice Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Maral Rakhimzhanova, Deputy Chair of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control, reviewed the publications and noted the relevance of the presented materials for the training of public health professionals.

The Congress brought together representatives of the sanitary and epidemiological service, government authorities, and the scientific and professional communities, providing a platform for discussing current issues related to the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population.
