On April 30, 2026, at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov, the PhD dissertation defense of doctoral candidate Abdukalikova Delmira Bakytbekovna took place. The dissertation, entitled “Improvement of the Organization of Dental Care for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD),” was submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) under the educational program 8D10101 – “Public Health.”
The dissertation research was carried out at KMU “KSPH” at the Department of Public Health and Social Sciences.
The scientific supervisors were: Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the Department of Public Health and Social Sciences at KMU “KSPH”, Ryskulova Alma-Gul Rakhimovna; and Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov, Yermukhanova Gulzhan Tleumukhanovna. The international scientific consultant was Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pediatric Therapeutic Dentistry at the Kyiv Medical University (Kyiv, Ukraine), Yakubova Inessa.
Following the public defense, the Dissertation Council unanimously decided to award Abdukalikova Delmira Bakytbekovna the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the educational program “Public Health.”
