A patient was taken to the Central City Clinical Hospital of Almaty in a critical condition.
The ambulance team delivered it with a diagnosis of signs of rupture of the aortic aneurysm and hematoma in the abdominal cavity.
The patient’s condition was very serious — the level of hemoglobin and arterial blood pressure dropped significantly, and his life was in danger.
A computed tomography was urgently performed and it was confirmed that there was a rupture of the aneurysm and a hematoma in the abdominal cavity. After the advice of doctors, it was decided to perform a high — tech operation-stent graft implantation. The operation was successful. It lasted 3 hours and was performed under regional anesthesia, a method that caused less trauma than open operations performed under general anesthesia. The operation performed using a mini-method from the groin area went without large slices, reducing the load on the patient’s body and reducing recovery time.
The operation was performed by vascular surgeons: Sultan Iliev and Daulet Aldakeshev. Thanks to their high qualifications and the use of modern technologies, the patient’s condition stabilizes, he feels better and is preparing to leave the hospital.
