The Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akmaral Alnazarova, held a meeting with the Chairman and Managing Director of Eni Kazakhstan, Seger Hoyting. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare within the framework of Eni’s sustainable development activities in Kazakhstan.

Special attention was given to potential collaboration on projects related to optimizing digital healthcare solutions, as well as various areas of child healthcare.

Key areas of Kazakhstan-Italy cooperation in healthcare include the exchange of experience and innovations, implementation of joint projects, improvement of the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population, training and professional development of personnel, academic mobility programs, development of healthcare infrastructure, and more.

“We are interested in leveraging Italy’s experience in healthcare to enhance the qualifications of our specialists, develop industry infrastructure, facilitate knowledge exchange between universities, and participate in the implementation of joint research and development initiatives with the Italian side,” noted A. Alnazarova.

The Kazakh side proposed exploring the possibility of holding summer training courses for young professionals in areas such as medical ecology, public health and epidemiology, healthcare management, and other relevant topics.
