On February 27, 2026, a scientific and practical conference titled “Strategic Dialogue on Healthcare Management in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Professional Standards and Leadership Development” was held at the Kazakhstan Medical University «KSPH».
The purpose of the conference was to exchange experience and discuss the professional standard “Healthcare Manager,” the key competencies of healthcare managers, as well as prospects for the development of managerial knowledge and approaches in the healthcare system.
The conference was attended by the First Vice-Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, T.S. Sultangaziyev, heads and representatives of regional and city health departments, international and national experts in healthcare, faculty members of higher, postgraduate, and non-formal education institutions, representatives of non-governmental organizations in the healthcare sector, healthcare managers, senior and chief nurses of medical organizations, and students. The total number of participants and registered attendees amounted to 250.
The reports delivered by First Vice-Minister T.S. Sultangaziyev, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan V.N. Lokshin, Chairperson of the Board of the S. Kairbekova National Research Center of Healthcare G.U. Kulkaeva, Professors G.Zh. Kapanova, M.A. Kamaliyev, K.K. Kurakbayev, M.D. Brimzhanova, K.A. Yergaliyev, L.K. Kosherbayeva and others were received with great interest.
The conference concluded with discussions of the presentations, an exchange of opinions, and the adoption of a resolution.
