The Department of Surgical Diseases was organized in February 2020 (order # 317/1-n from 26.12.2019) as a result of transformation of structural subdivisions of KMU «KSPH». The head of the department was Dr. M.Sc., Professor Toleutayuly Karibai. In September 2021, the Department of Surgical Diseases was reorganized. The head of the department became Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Zharmenov S.M.
November 01, 2022 at the department of “Surgical Diseases” was created a course of “Anesthesiology-Ranimatology and Transfusiology”, and March 01, 2024, as a result of reorganization was renamed in the course of “Anesthesiology and Reanimatology” Head of the course of Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Berdiyarova Gulbanu Sansyzbayevna.
On March 01, 2024 at the department of “Surgical Diseases” was created a course of “Obstetrics and Gynecology”. Head of the course Dr. M.Sc., Professor Lira Kabbasovna Kalieva
