During the defense, participants presented practical projects aimed at addressing current issues in the management and organization of medical institutions. The submitted works highlighted real managerial challenges in the healthcare system and demonstrated the participants’ ability to apply the knowledge they had acquired in practice.

The projects focused on key industry challenges, including:

shortage of medical personnel in regional areas;
insufficient funding and issues related to its effective allocation;
organization of anesthesiology and intensive care services;
insufficient integration of inpatient and outpatient care;
operation of medical information systems and digitalization challenges.

The projects were applied in nature and aimed at developing concrete managerial solutions, including process optimization, efficient use of resources, and improving the quality of medical care.

The “Healthcare Management” certification course is designed to develop professional competencies in managing medical organizations. The program trains participants in analysis, planning, organization, and control, as well as in effective management of personnel and resources within the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the program, participants learned modern approaches to healthcare management, mastered tools for strategic and operational management, and developed skills in decision-making and management analysis. The training included an assessment of initial knowledge and competencies.

The program content was developed in accordance with current qualification requirements, professional standards, and state standards for continuing education.

The project defense demonstrated the high level of preparation of the participants, their practical focus, and their readiness to implement effective managerial solutions in the healthcare system.
