On November 18, 2024, Kazakhstan’s Medical University” KSPH” met and signed a memorandum of cooperation with two leading hospitals of Traditional Chinese medicine in Urumqi in order to develop international cooperation in the field of rehabilitation, traditional medicine, acupuncture, as well as the exchange of talents.

As part of the foreign profit delegation: GuanAiJun-doctor, Secretary of the Municipal Health Committee of the city of Urumqi, Liu Bo-vice – president of the Pharmaceutical Institute, Jiang Wenxi and Zhang talent – presidents of traditional medicine hospitals, secretaries of the hospital Committee,Li Tao-head of the acupuncture Department.

Vice-rector for clinical activities of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhumabekov Aueskhan Tulegenovich, head of the Department of therapy Baisultanova Ayash Sharipkhanovna, as well as employees of the Department of international activities discussed cooperation issues and determined further plans, goals and objectives.

Urumqi traditional Chinese medicine hospital was founded in 1986 and intends to actively exchange experience in the field of Education, Science, patient treatment, training, especially attention to rehabilitation.

The delegation visited the Center for the treatment of diseases of the spine and joints” Rekinetix”. He also visited the Rehabilitation Department of the Central City Clinical Hospital No. 12, which is the clinical base of the University Department. On behalf of Aliya Turarovna, representatives of the hospital and head of the Rehabilitation Department Aigul Akhmetovna spoke about the current state and innovations of rehabilitation in Kazakhstan and the hospital. During the visit, the delegation from China visited the “Almaty Resort” sanatorium, where the director Saltanat Shymkent demonstrated new modern rehabilitation equipment that meets international standards.

The delegation highly appreciated the development of rehabilitation projects in Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan and China are actively implementing the plans of the SCO meeting in Astana and creating the best conditions for joint development and partnership in the field of healthcare. We hope that with this cooperation we will contribute to the development of health, education and economy of the two countries.
