About the Master's Degree

Admission
Applications from applicants to the Master’s degree program for participation in CT are accepted from June 1 to July 15 of the calendar year through the information system of the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – NTC)
The master’s degree in scientific and pedagogical direction
implements educational programs of postgraduate education for the training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel. The main criterion for the completion of master’s degree programs in scientific and pedagogical profile is the development of at least 120 academic credits for the entire period of study, including all types of educational and scientific activities of a graduate student and those who successfully defended their master’s thesis are awarded the Academic degree “Master of Medical Sciences”.
The Master’s degree program in the specialized area
implements postgraduate educational programs for the training of managerial personnel and experts for the healthcare system. The main criterion for the completion of master’s degree programs in the profile direction is the development of at least 60/90 academic credits for the entire period of study, including all types of educational and experimental activities of the undergraduate and those who successfully defended the master’s project are awarded the Academic degree “Master of Health”.
