On April 9, 2026, within the framework of Science Day, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists titled “Science and Youth: Application of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare” was held at KSPH KMU.
During the conference, presentations were delivered in the sections “Public Health” and “Clinical Medicine.” Participants discussed current issues in the healthcare system and specialized topics. An exchange of opinions took place, and questions were addressed. Ways to develop the healthcare system were also considered.
Following the conference, the best presenters were identified and awarded. The winners received the following opportunities:
1st place — free normative control review of a scientific paper (worth 30,000 KZT);
2nd place — free plagiarism check (worth 20,000 KZT);
3rd place — free publication of an article in the university’s scientific and practical journal Medicine Science and Education (worth 15,000 KZT).
In the “Public Health” section:
1st place — Turssayev Akzhan Almasuly, 1st-year Master’s student in Public Health;
2nd place — Turekhanova Aizhan Dzhambulbaevna, 2nd-year PhD student;
3rd place — Narymbayeva Nazerke Nurmagambetkyzy, PhD candidate, senior lecturer at the Department of Healthcare Management.
An additional award — a free plagiarism check — was granted to Bayanova Aidana Boranbekkyzy.
In the “Clinical Medicine” section:
1st place — Ashirbay Kanat Serikuly, 3rd-year PhD student in Medicine;
2nd place — Abdulla Venera Abaikyzy, 1st-year resident in Dermatovenereology;
3rd place — Shilanbayev Nyshanbek Ratbekuly, 2nd-year PhD student in Medicine.
Poster presentations:
1st place — Omarova Ukili, student of School No. 22, Karabulak district (startup project “Soyle AI”);
2nd place — Mukhametkali Adilmurza Erzhanuly, 7th-year intern at Asfendiyarov KazNMU;
3rd place — Zhatkanbayeva Ainur Zhanatkyzy, 2nd-year resident in Radiology.
At the end of the conference, participants exchanged views and discussed future plans for the development of science. A collection of scientific articles based on the conference materials will also be published. All participating attendees were awarded certificates.
