Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of Health Economics at KSPH — Kuralbay Kurakbayev has been awarded the Order of “Barys” III Degree!
The solemn award ceremony took place at the Akorda residence with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and was dedicated to the Day of the Medical Worker.
Professor Kurakbayev is an outstanding scholar and educator who has supervised more than 15 candidates and doctors of sciences. He is the author of over 150 scientific publications and serves as the Chair of the Dissertation Council in the field of Public Health (PhD).
This year, Professor Kurakbayev is also celebrating his 80th anniversary.
President Tokayev emphasized the vital role of healthcare professionals and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to supporting medical workers.
