On 10-14 June 2024, the second workshop organized by the WHO Representative Office in the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the WHO pilot project on capacity building of school health services was held at the Kazakhstan Medical University “KSPH”. If the first workshop on 20-22 May 2024, organized by WHO, was attended by decision makers in the field of school medicine – employees of health and education authorities, then teachers of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan were invited to participate in this workshop.

The plans are based on the results and recommendations of a study on the assessment of national school health systems and the European Concept of Quality Standards for School Health Services and Competencies for Specialists, which will improve the quality and effectiveness of school medicine in the country.
A total of 30 teachers were trained, who extremely appreciated the level of organization of the seminar and will be involved in further educational processes.
