The Department of Ophthalmology was established in August 2024 (based on Order No. 124/1-ж/қ dated August 29, 2024) as a result of the transformation of the Department of Surgical Diseases at KMU HSPH. The head of the department is Dr. Naila Akhmetovna Aldasheva, MD.
The Department of Ophthalmology at KMU HSPH provides specialist training in the residency program for the specialty “Ophthalmology (Adult and Pediatric).”
The faculty includes: 1 Head of the Department, 1 Professor, and 3 Associate Professors. Additionally, the educational process involves other highly qualified instructors and specialist doctors with extensive experience and significant scientific achievements.
