Department of Nursing

The Department of Nursing was established as part of LLP “Kazakhstan Medical University “Higher School of Public Health” on April 29, 2024.
The opening of the department marked an important stage in the development of the university and aimed to improve the quality of training specialists in the field of nursing.
The department was created with the purpose of integrating educational, scientific, and practical activities in the sphere of modern nursing education.
From the very first days, the department has been actively working on the development of curricula, teaching materials, and the introduction of modern educational technologies.
Faculty members place special emphasis on developing students’ practical skills, professional ethics, and clinical thinking.
The department collaborates with medical organizations, clinics, and educational institutions, allowing future specialists to undergo practical training in real healthcare settings and gain valuable experience in patient care.
Goal of the Department
The main goal of the department is to train competitive, competent, and ethically responsible specialists in the field of nursing who are capable of applying modern scientific knowledge, technologies, and approaches to ensure quality care and promote public health.
Objectives of the Department

• To organize and conduct the educational process for bachelor’s and master’s programs in nursing in accordance with national and international standards;
• To develop students’ professional and communication competencies, as well as clinical thinking and critical analysis skills;
• To promote scientific and research activities among students and undergraduates, supporting initiatives in innovation and digitalization of healthcare;
  To integrate the principles of evidence-based medicine and nursing ethics into the educational process.
