Course of Dermatovenereology

The course of dermatovenereology of HSPH is a new center for the development of dermatovenereology science and practice in Kazakhstan.

History and mission:

The course was founded in 2024 with the aim of training a new generation of highly qualified dermatovenereologists capable of effectively solving public health problems in the field of skin and venereal diseases.

Main areas of activity of the department:

* Educational: Training of residents in dermatovenereology, advanced training of dermatovenereologists.

* Research:

* Study of the prevalence and characteristics of the course of skin diseases in the region.

* Development of new methods of treating psoriasis.

* Study of the effectiveness of new drugs for the treatment of STIs.

* Clinical: Providing consultative, diagnostic and therapeutic care to patients with dermatological and venereal diseases.

Clinical base:

The department is based on the clinical site of the Almaty Regional Dermatovenereological Dispensary, which provides residents and advanced training course students with access to a wide range of patients and modern methods of diagnosis and treatment.
