Today, Rector Auyezova Ardak Mukhanbetzhanovna held a staff meeting for university employees dedicated to discussing the provisions of the draft new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to healthcare.

During the meeting, key provisions guaranteeing citizens’ right to health protection and the preservation of the volume of guaranteed free medical care were explained. It was noted that the sources of healthcare financing are being expanded through the involvement of charitable foundations, international organizations, and large national companies, while citizens’ rights remain fully protected and are not diminished.

Special attention was given to public health protection as a component of national security, as well as to regulations governing responsibility for the dissemination of information affecting citizens’ right to health, morality, and public order.

The importance of education and science, including medical education, was also emphasized as a foundation for sustainable state development and the formation of human capital.

The meeting was held in an open discussion format with the participation of university staff both offline and online.
