Kazakhstan’s medical university “KSPH” receives a Letter of Appreciation from the Turkestan Region Public health Department

Kazakhstan’s medical university “KSPH” has received a letter of appreciation from Public health Department of the Turkestan Region in recognition of its high level of professionalism, expert support, and contribution to the development of professional competencies among healthcare professionals.

From 7 to 9 October 2026, a training seminar entitled “Corporate Governance and Financial Sustainability of Medical Organizations in the Republic of Kazakhstan: The Role of the Supervisory Board” was held in the city of Turkestan.

The event aimed to improve the performance of supervisory boards of medical organizations, enhance the effectiveness of corporate governance, develop skills in applying the regulatory and legal framework, and strengthen the financial sustainability of healthcare organizations.

During the seminar, leading professors from Kazakhstan Medical University “KSPH” shared their extensive academic knowledge, years of professional experience, and practical recommendations.

Special appreciation was expressed to the university’s experts:

• Kurakbayev Kuralbay — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor at KMU “KSPH”, and recipient of the Order of Barys, III Class;
• Abildayev Tleukhan — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor at KMU “KSPH”;
• Akhmetov Valikhan — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor at KMU “KSPH”.

The Public health Department of the Turkestan Region highly commended the professors’ professional expertise, extensive practical experience, and significant contribution to the successful and substantive delivery of the training event.

The letter of appreciation represents important recognition of the university’s educational and expert activities and confirms its contribution to improving the governance of medical organizations in Kazakhstan.
