On October 21, 2026, the Department of Nursing at Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” held a Nursing Journal Club meeting for master’s students.

The meeting brought together first-year master’s students in the Nursing program, faculty members, and healthcare professionals.

The following topics were discussed:

🔹 Evidence-based practice as the foundation of modern nursing;

🔹 From a master’s research project to scientific publication and implementation of results;

🔹 How to formulate a research problem and develop a research project.

The meeting included scientific discussions, a round-table session, and a Journal Club focused on the critical analysis of scientific articles. Participants discussed the role of evidence-based practice in improving the quality of nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting informed professional decision-making.

The master’s students received practical recommendations on selecting a research topic, formulating a research problem, searching for scientific sources, and critically evaluating evidence. Particular attention was given to applying research findings in clinical practice and nursing education.

The Nursing Journal Club provided an effective platform for sharing experience, presenting research ideas, and building professional connections.

We sincerely thank all participants for their interest, active engagement, and valuable contributions to the discussion!

We wish our master’s students continued success in their research, inspiring new ideas, and significant professional achievements!
