KMU “KSPH” Invites Medical University Graduates to Apply for Residency Training
Kazakhstan’s Medical University “Kazakhstan School of Public Health” (KMU “KSPH”) announces the admission of applications for residency training in highly demanded medical specialties.
Residency training at KMU “KSPH”provides an opportunity to obtain high-quality postgraduate medical education, gain practical experience at the country’s leading clinical training sites, and develop professional competencies under the supervision of highly qualified faculty members and practicing physicians.
In the upcoming academic year, the University offers 28 residency educational programs. Clinical training is conducted at more than 90 affiliated clinical organizations, enabling future physicians to enhance their clinical skills in real-world healthcare settings.
The educational process is based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, the use of modern educational technologies, and the development of clinical reasoning. In addition to clinical training, residents have opportunities to engage in scientific research, participate in research projects, and continuously improve their professional competencies.
Admission Through the Unified Information Platform
Submission of applications and participation in the admission competition are carried out through the Unified Information Platform, which ensures transparency, objectivity, and automation of the selection process.
The platform allows applicants to:
- select up to four residency educational programs;
- choose up to four higher education institutions offering residency programs;
- automatically calculate their competitive score;
- monitor their ranking in real time;
- assess their chances of admission to the selected residency program.
After the application period closes, the system automatically generates a ranking of applicants for each residency educational program based on their competitive scores.
Competitive Score Calculation
The competitive score is calculated using the following formula:
(GPA × 50) / 4 + (Final Certification Score × 5) / 10
Where:
- GPA is the cumulative grade point average for the entire period of study in the bachelor’s degree and internship programs;
- Final Certification Score is the final result of the graduate’s state (final) certification.
Important Information for Applicants
Before submitting an application, applicants are advised to ensure that they have a valid electronic digital signature (EDS) issued for an individual, verify that their EDS files are accessible, and confirm that the certificate has not expired. The absence of a valid EDS or an expired certificate may prevent applicants from submitting their application and participating in the admission competition.
KMU “KSPH” welcomes graduates of medical universities to take the next step in their professional careers, receive high-quality postgraduate medical education, and become part of a community of highly qualified healthcare professionals contributing to the development of Kazakhstan’s healthcare system.
Detailed information on the admission requirements, residency educational programs, and application deadlines is available on the official website of Kazakhstan’s Medical University “Kazakhstan School of Public Health” (KMU “KSPH”).
