Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” has entered the top 30 universities of Kazakhstan in the international UI GreenMetric World University Ranking for environmental sustainability, confirming its strong progress in sustainable development and ecological responsibility.
Within the ranking, the university holds comparable positions with the leading national, research, and medical universities, demonstrating similar indicators in campus infrastructure, environmental initiatives, sustainable resource management, and the development of a “green” campus.
According to the evaluation results, the university achieved high scores in the following areas:
- campus infrastructure,
- energy efficiency and climate policy,
- waste management system,
- rational use of water resources,
- sustainable transport,
- environmental education and scientific research.
Being included in the regional top 30 confirms the university’s commitment to meeting international sustainability standards and strengthening its position among Kazakhstan’s leading medical universities.
