At Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH,” a meeting was organized with writer, academician of the Academy of Informatics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, professor, and Honored Cultural Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ermek Zhumakhmetuly Zangirov, in honor of the national holiday – the Day of the Currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The professor spoke to the students of our university not only about the creation of the national currency – the Tenge – and the history of its introduction into circulation, but also provided a broad overview of the global currency system.
“Currency is not only a means of exchanging goods; above all, it is an integral part of the state. Respecting the Tenge and honoring our national currency is the duty of every citizen of Kazakhstan. On Earth, there is only one Kazakh nation, and everyone must regard its borders, army, and currency with respect and pride. After all, there are many peoples who have not achieved such things,” Zangirov noted.
In his speech, he spoke at length to the youth about patriotism. The meeting concluded with an introduction to the currencies from the lecturer’s collection.
