The International Scientific and Practical Congress “Bridges to Health: Science and Clinic” has commenced at the Kazakh Medical University “Higher School of Public Health” (KSPH). The event is dedicated to the Day of Science Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The opening of the congress featured a plenary session, during which key areas of healthcare development were addressed, including innovative approaches, the use of artificial intelligence, transplantation issues, and translational science.
Leading experts from Spain, the USA, Russia, and India participated in the plenary session, highlighting the international status of the congress and its importance for advancing scientific collaboration.
The congress then continued with Poster Presentation sessions and the Nursing Science section.
The “Nursing Science” section served as a platform to discuss current issues in the training and professional practice of nurses. Participants focused on modern educational approaches, palliative care for elderly patients, working conditions, building a professional environment, and the prospects for implementing artificial intelligence in nursing practice.
Presentations were delivered by master’s and doctoral students from leading universities in Kazakhstan, including:
- Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University,
- Al-Farabi Kazakh National University,
- and Semey Medical University.
Their contributions sparked lively discussions and laid the foundation for a professional dialogue on the future of nursing in Kazakhstan.
