The professor is the director of the Center for Translational Neurosurgery at the International Institute of Neuroscience in Germany. He performs surgeries in areas such as vascular neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, pediatric neurosurgery and spinal neurosurgery. Daniel Hengi is a member of the German Society of Neurosurgery, the German Academy of Neurosurgery, the German Society of Basic Skull Surgery, the Swiss Society of Neurosurgeons, the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies, the World Organization of Neurosurgeons, the American Association of Neurosurgeons, as well as the Congress of Neurosurgeons. The visiting professor has more than 300 articles on the PubMed platform and is the author of books on neurosurgery.
Surgical residents were invited to the lecture. The professor presented the latest equipment in the operating room of the neurosurgical department.
