On September 24-25, at the Grand Hotel “Tien Shan” in Almaty, the National Scientific Center for Especially Dangerous Infections named after M. Aikimbayev, the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) organized an international scientific and practical symposium “Biosafety and Sustainable Development: strategic approaches” within the framework of the German-Kazakh Cooperation on Biosafety project. This forum presents materials from the state registers of Kazakhstan, Germany, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and the centers of WHO, CDC, ISTC, IBRD on the previous experience of the EU, etc. About 500 leading experts and scientists on biosafety took part in the hybrid format from international organizations. KMU “KSPH” took part in the Symposium on September 24-25, 2024 on the topic of “Biosafety and sustainable development:strategic approaches”. Professor Ryskulova Alma-Gul and Professor Baymuratova Mayrash were invited from the University by the head of Department of Public Health of Almaty.
