From August 18 to 24, 2024, KMU “KSPH” took part in an international summer school called “A Journey to Science and Health”, organized by Hubei Medical University in Shiyan, China.
During the internship, the participants heard lectures on stem cells, on achievements in the study of neurological diseases, a seminar on teaching methods, research and administrative work. We took a tour of the university campus, visiting the university’s historical museum, the Museum of Life Sciences and the clinical skills training center.
We visited the Taihe Affiliated Hospital, the Elderly Health Center and the Shiyan City Museum, the Pharmaceutical Engineering Center and the Medicinal Plant Garden, the Renmin Affiliated Hospital, where we were shown modern diagnostic and treatment methods.
At the end of the internship, the participants were given certificates.
The internship at Hubei Medical University was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to expand professional knowledge, strengthen international ties and get acquainted with Chinese culture.
