On 20-22 May 2024, at the Kazakhstan’s Medical University ‘KSPH’ was held workshop organised by the WHO Representative Office in Republic of Kazakhstan,  within the framework of the pilot project on capacity building of school health services. The workshop was attended by decision makers in the field of school health care. The aim of the workshop was to expand school health services in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Consultant of WHO Country Office Akbota Abildina familiarised the audience with the results and recommendations of the study on evaluation of national school health care systems and the European concept of quality standards for school health care services and competencies for professionals. Co-operation with WHO Country Office in Kazakhstan envisages further development of the project on improvement of quality and efficiency of school health services. Proceedings with the Country Office in Kazakhstan involves further development of the project to improve the quality and efficiency of school health services. In June, a seminar with school medicine specialists is planned on the basis of KMU ‘KSPH’ for the subsequent development of a specialised training module and its integration into medical education at all levels.
